Alpine Days 2010

Here they are! Paula and Sherry doing what they do best at Alpine Days. They run the quilt show and as you will see it is fabulous. There is so much talent in this little area.
Fresh strawberries for the happy quilters to offset hunger pains from a long day of visiting with all those wonderful Alpine people.

First before I show the Alpine Quilts I wanted to show a table runner that I helped my Clancy do for one of her favorite teachers at Timberline. This teacher made such a difference in her life that I felt like she really needed to know how much she was appreciated and loved.

This is a wonderful quilt of color by Jody Jorgensen.

This beautiful quilt is one of Nanette Merrills from Freda's Hive.

This cute witch quilt is by Annette Flygare.

This fabulous Dear Jane Quilt is extraordinary and is pieced by Laurel of http://broadbentquiltshop.blogspot.com/

This is a Christmas Quilt I made with Be Merry from Riley Blake Designs

Another great quilt by Laurel. Her workmanship is just incredible.

Another quilt by Nanette. She is so clever.

Helen Butler did this quilt and not only does she piece her quilts but she does all the beautiful finish work on her Bernina sewing machine.

This cute antique quilt is by Henrietta Wise.

Another extraordinary quilt by Laurel, and yes this is a finished Oh, My Gosh Quilt.

Fun block.

Syd Hagland did this fun wool quilt.

Don't you love how these blocks stand out on this white background?

Another Girl Gang quilt.

This is Sherry Boren's basket quilt. It has over 200 baskets that are all hand appliqued.

Janene Lunt made this quilt for her daughters room.

Cindy Cloward made this quilt out of Boo to You fabric from Riley Blake Designs.

This was my quilt that was in Mark Lapinski's Home Quilter magazine.
Nanette's  basket quilt.

Paula's fun fall quilt. Don't you just love the golds and blacks with a little touch of green.

Ron Morgan has been working on this quilt for 2 years. He made up his own pattern for this quilt. I am so proud of him and his achievement to finish this project. His children are going to fight over this one.

Me and all the girls at the quilt show visiting and enjoying time together. Sherry, Paula, Jody, Me and Moana.

A young boy about 10 was looking at the quilts with his mother and he turned to her and said " Mom, you have got to start practicing sewing. I want one of these quilts. There are so many here that I really like." (He was serious.)So to all you quilters out there. Keep practicing!
