The Dog Kennel Quilt Group
The embroidery work on this quilt caught my eye. Look at those cute snowmen scenes. I think it is just adorable. The black and white stripe border with the red stop border highlights all the great handwork in the center of this quilt.
Look how cute and festive this quilt is. You could name all those stockings after your children and grandchildren. The stockings are raw edge sewn which creates a fun texture for this quilt.
This quilt is a panel in the middle with the cute blocks as a border and the colors just sing fall is in the air. Again there is a cute stripe border.
This quilt has been around forever and every time I see it I love it. I might have to make this quilt one day.
Look at all these cute projects. Don't they make you want to sew all day.
I spied another Riley Blake Designs fabric. This is Boo to You! 10" Squares placed on the diagonal creating this wonderful color arrangement of black, green and orange.
To my friends Janene and Margaret this was the beginning of the Catty Quilters. They wondered how they could make a quilt group and we decided right there and then in the Dog Kennel Quilt Groups yard that they could be the Catty Quilters. Anyone who doesn't show up to quilt group will be talked about. This is an inside joke of course and only those who were there would understand. I will post later on the Catty Quilter Groups retreat that they just had.
The beautiful pinks, browns and aquas set this quilt apart. The long arm quilting on it was beautiful.
What can I say about cherries. You can never have enough. I think the colors and design are just charming in this quilt.
More quilts. Looks like this was a group effort. One pattern and many different variations.
More and more quilts.
Just Sew from Highland had a little table with some items they were selling. They had a really cute display.
As I was headed out from quilting heaven I spied this red and white quilt. It was the icing on the cake for me. I love it. Classy, clean and visually stunning with the red and white contrast.
I apologize for being slow to post this month. I am busy getting ready for quilt market. There is barely breathing room. I will post when I come up for breath.
