Quilt Market

I wanted to show a quick peak of some quilts I am working on for market. This one I designed from Isabella from Lila Tueller's new line with Riley Blake Designs. The fabric and colors are really beautiful.

Lila has such a great eye for color and detail. Her work is really beautiful. What makes her even better is that she is a really a fun person and I love working with her.

This fabric line is called Enchanted Garden and is designed by Samantha Walker who is another local artist.

Samantha is also really fun and I enjoy working with her too. I designed this quilt using a butterfly image which is similar to the main print. Chris did a fabulous job of making these quilts look beautiful. Her handwork is perfection. The colors in this collection are vibrant and fun and will make beautiful quilts and clothing.

This line of fabric is called Quite Contrary and is designed by My Mind's Eye for Riley Blake Designs. We love working with My Mind's Eye also. Their designs are always great!

It's hard to see but there are really cute strawberries on one of the prints. Riley Blake Designs has some crocheted strawberries that go with this line and they are adorable.

Market is just around the corner but as I finish projects I'll try to show you the fun things we will be taking to market this fall in Houston. That is next week. I better get back to work!!!

I hope you enjoy all the fabulous quilts.

Love the red and yellow.

This is the million dollar quilt. Each block represents the story behind a letter from her son who served a 2 year mission. Don't you think that is such a great idea. I love it.

I love all the hand embroidery on this quilt. It will be a classic.

This was a block exchange quilt. She did a great job of her colors and arranging of blocks. I think this quilt turned out great.

Goldilocks Fabric Tour

Goldilocks Fabric Tour
Jill Howarth has designed a darling fabric line  based around the beloved storybook of  Goldilocks and the three bears.  Her eye for detail and color choices  make this line so sweet.

Jill designs for Riley Blake Designs and  you can find her whole collection  of adorable prints here...

Fabric always inspires my designs and I couldn't  help myself...I had to make my grand daughters  another cute mini quilt for  their doll bed...they like to play with when they visit.

These are 3" finished mini houses.  I like to think Goldilocks would have played  with the three bears in each of these cute houses:)

Notice the cute mushrooms, flowers,  bears and Goldilocks, of course.

The little girls are going to spend hours  of fun remaking this bed and using  this cute mini Goldilocks House quilt to cover their dolls. *** I was able to fussy cut some of the  cute motifs so they showed in the mini houses.  You could play I-spy and te

Farm Girl Vintage "Woolly Sheep"

Woolly Sheep is the last block on the  Farm Girl Vintage Friday Blog Hop Sew-Along.

It has been sew much fun sewing along  with Lori Holt, Fat Quarter Shop and all of you every Friday.

I have a pile of super cute Farm Girl Blocks that I can't wait to start piecing together to make a fabulous quilt.

I wanted my sheep to be white so I used low volume fabrics...I'm going to add some embroidery around the edge of the sheep to help the outline pop.

My Woolly Sheep and I  took a little field trip to Birdseye, Utah.  My sister-in-law and her husband  live on a ranch... It was the perfect spot for some  Farm Girl Vintage photos.

Don't you love this old farm truck!

The setting was a beautiful, peaceful, tranquil day.

We were able to take these photos with the perfect backdrop for Woolly Sheep.

Farm Girl Vintage features 45 different quilt blocks  in 6″ and 12″ sizes.  There are bonus projects and quilts galore.  The instructions are visual and easy to read and understand.   There are so …
