Salt Lake City Competition

I thought I'd share some fun pictures of  my youngest performing at a Scottish Dance Festival at Thanksgiving Point. This is her performing the Highland Fling.

This is the parade of the bands that happens around lunch time. All the clans parade and the bands perform.
It's quite spectacular to see all the bands performing together. It's a great sight and sound. The pipes ring in your ears for days. They give me the chills. I love to hear the bag pipes.

Here Clancy and McKenzie are performing the Seann Truibhas for the mass bands and parade.

This quilt is just a simple square in a square with a 1 1/2" sashing.
You can download this pattern from the rileyblakedesigns.com  It's one I designed for the free project give away.

It's a very simple quilt with a beautiful finished look. I love it! I think she did a great job on contrasting her colors.

This is a quilt that was on a table outside a little store in Park city.

Don't you just love the antique look and feel of this quilt. I have no idea how old it is. I want to make this block. I love the 9- patch on point with some plain squares in a…
